Inaugural Ceremony of the Royal Academy of Pope Benedict XV Marks Celebration of Peace and Brotherhood Through Dialogue Among Nations
On 11 May 2024, at 4.00 pm, at the Istituto SS. Maria Bambina, via Paolo VI, 21 Vatican City – Rome, the opening ceremony of the Institutional Year 2024/25 of the “ROYAL ACADEMY OF POPE BENEDICT XV” will be held. During the course of the same, the academic titles for the year 2024 will be awarded. Among those who will be awarded: H.E.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to the Holy See, Mr. Règis Kevin BAKIONO who will be awarded the “INTENATIONAL PRIZE of SANT’AGATA V.M.”, a special edition for the year 2024 reserved for those who constantly do their best, through their Institutional activity, to facilitate dialogue between peoples to create a future of peace and brotherhood. Following this, the title of “Academic Senator” will be awarded to Maestro Guillermo Mariotto, internationally renowned stylist; to Prof. Stefano Dominella, Honorary President of Maison Gattinoni, Vice President of the Fashion and Design section of Unindustria; to Professor Bonizza Giordani Aragno, Eminent Italian Fashion Historian and Writer; to International Film Producer Eileen Tasca; to Dr. Nino Graziano Luca Artistic Director of the National Historical Dance Company and to other illustrious and prestigious personalities from the Institutional, Civil, Religious, Military and Artistic World.At 8.30 pm, the Gala Dinner will be held at a prestigious hotel in the capital.
